What are Queries in SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?

Queries are related to users i.e. people who want to search something on the internet. So , they will open any kind of search engine like Google and will type thats they want to search. For example. A user wants to buy ‘T-Shirt’ online then what he will type.
So what people write to find something is known as query. The question is something that as a writer or marketer you can not predict. They will write anything to find that they wants and also you have to catch that query by using the keyword.

Are you wants to know about what is keyword?

The keyword is a specific term that users are searching on the internet. In the previous example, an user wants to find out about T-Shirt so that will be your keyword. As an online marketer or SEO expert, you need to more concentrate on what user wants to search?

Generally you may say that Query is related to users and Keyword is related to online marketer or even SEO expert. But as an online marketer you need to take care of both of these because your keyword depend on users query and you have to search for this and need to place it in web page or post.

Query versus Keyword?

As mentioned before
  • Users start using Queries
  • Online marketers start using keywords
By this, you can say that users do not know very well what keywords are while searching anything. Is it mean users are stupid? No, I want to inform you that users or visitors do not know very well what online marketers are targeting that keywords. Users will simply type what they are searching for.

Same problem occurs along with online marketers, they do not what users can type to find their products.Online marketers have to research all queries (the terms that real users type) to find keywords.

The following you can define both as under,

Query: What users actually enter search bar
Keyword: What marketer’s looking for
